Evaluations & Services
Paradigm Psychiatry evaluates and treats a broad range of mental health conditions, including ADHD, anxiety disorders, depression, OCD, bipolar, and other psychiatric conditions.
Yes. Paradigm Psychiatry provides comprehensive psychiatric evaluations, including an initial assessment of symptoms and behaviors that may be associated with autism spectrum disorder (ASD). Our providers can identify characteristics suggestive of autism and assess whether further diagnostic evaluation may be appropriate.
However, our evaluations do not include specialized autism testing or the formal diagnostic documentation required for eligibility through the Arizona Division of Developmental Disabilities (DDD).
If autism is suspected or further evaluation is needed, we will refer the patient to an appropriate specialist for a comprehensive autism diagnostic assessment. We also evaluate and treat co-occurring mental health conditions, including ADHD, anxiety, depression, and other behavioral concerns.

SPRAVATO® Treatment
Allow more than two hours for your visit. Monitoring lasts at least two hours after dosing, with additional time for check-in and treatment. You may need to stay longer before your provider determines you are ready to leave.
The usual schedule for treatment-resistant depression is:
- Weeks 1-4: Twice Weekly
- Weeks 5-8: Once weekly
- Weeks 9 onward: Weekly or every other week
Your provider will adjust the schedule based on your reponse and side effects. Schedules may differ or other approved uses.
Avoid food for at least two hours and liquids for at least 30 minutes before dosing. If you use a nasal steroid or decongestant, take it at least one hour beforehand. Review your medications with our team and arrange transportation home.
Do not drive, operate machinery, or perform activities requiring full alertness until the next day after a restful night’s sleep. Plan to rest after treatment and confirm pickup arrangements with our office.
For treatment-resistant depression, SPRAVATO® may be prescribed alone or with an oral antidepressant. For major depression with acute suicidal thoughts or behaviors, it must be used with an oral antidepressant. Do not stop or change medications without your provider’s instructions.
Possible effects include dizziness, nausea, sleepiness, increased blood pressure, and temporary feelings of disconnection. Serious risks include sedation, breathing suppression, and abuse or misuse.
Review the Important Safety Information on our SPRAVATO® service page and the Medication Guide with your provider.
Coverage, prior authorization requirements, and out-of-pocket costs vary by plan. Our office can help you check benefits for both the medication and treatment visits. Verification of benefits does not guarantee coverage.
